Tons is an oversized replica of Canadian litter - with only minor edits from its original found state in the gutter - simultaneously commenting on consumption and the sheer amount of corporate byproducts in our public spaces and landfills. This piece, lasercut to shape, also evokes topographic landscapes, drawing attention to the lack of corporate accountability to our fragile environment.
